From January 2019 onwards, Master of Wine Cees van Casteren will join Goswijn Simons for wine blog The Story of my Wine and Instagram. Cees will also post some reviews and will add reports of special tastings and vineyard and winemaker visits. As he travels extensively, this will broaden The Story of my Wine and hopefully make it even more attractive to the current and future followers.
Goswijn Simons started the wine blog The Story of my Wine in June 2016 after building a serious network on Instagram counting today almost 70,000 followers. Goswijn started reviewing wines on Vivino with almost 4,300 reviews nowadays. He passed WSET-2 and just sat the WSET-3 exam in December 2018. Very excited to explore the world of wine. Goswijn has also his own web design company founded in August 2000.
Cees (pronounced as: Case) van Casteren MW started writing about wine in 2004. Since then he published 10 books and some 550 articles on wine and food (albeit most of them in the Dutch language; internationally he writes for Meininger’s Wine Business International). Cees is also a wine educator and runs his own consultancy and training business. He is Ambassadeur du Champagne, Rioja Educator, WSET Certified Educator® and Master of Wine since 2012. Cees won the Prix Pommery twice and is currently Chairman of the Association of Vinologists, the main trade association for wine professionals in Holland. For questions, please contact us.
