Excellent Wine-dining Experience Bodegas Roda at Fourcroy The Netherlands

Monday 30th October I joint an exclusive tasting of different vintages of Bodegas Roda wines at Fourcroy Netherlands in Bussum (Holland)
Onno Kokmeijer, Executive Director of Ciel Bleu ** had made several small dishes that were combined with Roda wines of different years.

Especially for the occasion, Agustin Santolaya, President of Bodegas Roda, traveled to the tasting room of Fourcroy in Bussum. The Spanish Bodegas Roda is one of the most representative wineries in Rioja Alta. In 1992 Bodegas Roda launched its first year in the market, since quality at all stages of production has been the highest priority. Bodegas Roda manages 28 top Rioja vineyards, all purchased after intensive research into terroir and ecosystems. Every year, only the best grapes are selected from only 17 of the 28 vineyards to ensure the highest quality. Old vines between 30 and 90 years are used, completely without the use of pesticides and with an eye for the natural environment.

It was a great tasting with some great vintages.
