Winemakers notes:
Characteristics of the Vintage The spring of 2016 was a particularly rainy one. This was very important for the water reserve during blossom but it caused trouble to wine growers in the area. Manual pruning and selection of the sprouts was essential to preserve the vineyard’s health and facilitate movement of air between the rows and the plants. The dry and sunny summer was only briefly interrupted by rain. At harvest period the grapes were perfectly ripened and in the best conditions in years.
