Terre di Ger - Limine 2016
Pairing Suggestions
This weekend we enjoyed this lovely white wine from Friuli.
Terrediger – Limine (89 tsomw points)
Only 2.500 bottles are produced.
Blend of Pinot bianco and Sauvignon Blanc
In the glass a bright lemon yellow color.
On the nose delicate aromas of stonefruit, passionfruit and a touch of vanilla and blossom.
On the palate rich and round with great freshness and nice acidity. Great luscious and long finish.
Winemaker notes:
Characteristics of the Vintage The spring of 2016 was a particularly rainy one. This was very important for the water reserve during blossom. Manual pruning and selection of the sprouts was essential to preserve the vineyard’s health and facilitate movement of air between the rows and the plants. The summer was dry and sunny. At harvest period the grapes were perfectly ripened and in the best conditions in years.
