Pairing Suggestions
On World Brunello day (1 may) we also cracked this great red one.
Tenuta Il poggione - Brunello di Montalcino 2010 (89 tsomw points)
Dark ruby red in color.
Expressive nose of moccha, dark cherries, earthy minerality, spices and hints of leather.
Med-full bodied with fine-grained tannins, bright fruit, perfect balance and a long aftertaste. A gem. Will improve further with cellaring.
