Tenuta I Gelsi - Aglianico del Vulture - Basilicata 2012
Pairing Suggestions
Ouch that guy on tv looks not happy...but I am ???? Tenuta I Gelsi Aglianico del Vulture / Basilicata 2012 DOC (85 points)
From the Basilicata region comes this nice red one. In the glass it shows a garnet red color.
In the nose aromas of cherry and plum jam, blueberries, currant, licorice and a hint of tobacco, pepper and balsamic.
The palate is still young with firm but fine grained tannins that melt with the red fruit, fine spices. I think this will even be better over 5 years.
