Simcic - Pinot Noir 2013
Pairing Suggestions
This is a great Pinot Noir from Slovenia. Two years on barrique. Great surprise for me!
Marjan Simcic – Pinot Noir 2013 (87/100 tsomw points)
In the glass a ruby red color, light transparent with a brick color hue.
On the nose cherries, cassis liquor and orange peel with soft savory hints.
On the palate ripe red fruit, nice solid but also fresh. Suprisingly big for this grape! Nice long aftertaste of cherries.
