Nigl - Riesling Senftenberger Piri 2015
Pairing Suggestions
Outside the sun starts to shine, spring is entering the Netherlands ( I hope:) Today also sun in the glass. A nice white wine from Kremstal- Austria which fits great with the Easter festivities.
Nigl - Riesling Senftenberger Piri 2015 (89 tsomw points)
In the glass a bright yellow color with greenisch /silver reflections.
On the nose inviting aromas of peach, tropical fruits with hints of herbal spices, honey and blossom.
On the palate dry, rich mouthfeel, well balanced with good structure showing flavours of peach, lemon, spicy acidity, mineral with tropical notes and light almond in the finish.
Still young with safe development potential.

location: As Senftenberger Piri we refer to three south facing mica schist layers which we expand together. The vineyards have the same slope, almost identical soils and a common microclimate. That's why you have established yourself as a single location. The Grüner Veltliner and the Riesling are usually expanded in the upscale Cabinet area.
