Lunadoro - Pagliareto Vino Nobile Di Montepulciano 2012 (89 tsomw points)
In the glass an intense ruby red color with garnet reflections.
On the nose delicate aromas of ripe cherries, blackberries with hints of plums, violets, liquorice, cloves and vanilla.
On the palate full bodied with nice mouthfeel, good balance with cherries, vanilla, leather and impressive tannic vault. In the aftertaste fruity and spicy memories which close this nice journey.
Winemaker notes:
btained from the vinitification of Sangiovese, its ruby red colour evolves to a quite strong garnet colour. It has a complex and characteristic bouquet with a mature fruit aroma, notes of black pepper, prune jam, a floral note of violet, cigar and dark chocolate aromas. Well balanced on the palate and with sweet tannins that, combined with the correct acidity, create a long lasting finish.
