Jean-Pierre Patigny - Champagne 'Brut Tradition' Premier Cru (88 TSW)
What is the best way to kick-off the week? Of course with a bottle of champagne.
The Jean-Pierre Patigny Champagne House is located in the town of Hautvillers in the Vallée de la Marne. The family business has Premier Cru locations around several spots which are planted with pinot noir, pinot meunier and chardonnay. Only 35,000 bottles are produced annually.
Champagne Jean-Pierre Patigny 'Brut Tradition' Premier Cru is a mix of 30% chardonnay, 60% pinot noir and 10% pinot meunier. The essential part of the basic wines comes from vintage 2016.
About the Champagne:
In the glass a bright golden yellow color. The perflage is fine and persistent.
On the medium nose delicate aromas of ripe pear, citrus and peach with hints of brioche and almond.
On the palate dry, medium bodied with nice freshness, medium acidity and a soft and round mouthfeel. You can discover flavours of ripe stone fruit, orangezest and hazelnut with a nice fresh and light almond finish.
