Pairing Suggestions
Perfect weather for this quality Nahe Riesling.

My tasting notes:
In the glass a pale citrus yellow color.
On the medium nose aromas of pear, peach and citrus with hints of baking spices, herbs and flint.
On the palate dry with a touch of extract sweetness. Medium bodied, medium(++) acidity and medium alc. Flavours are a recall of the nose with a nice salinity and a medium(+) length finish. Very good Riesling for it's price range.
To pair with: pork, shellfish, spicy food, poultry and charcuterie.
About the winery:
For 250 years the Schönleber family has been in the wine business. At the end of the 1960s, the first vineyards came into their own (2ha.). Meanwhile, this number has expanded to 14 ha. Including the 2 Grand Cru vineyards in the Nahe area: Halenberg & Frühlingsplätzchen! Since 2001, everything has been marketed under its own label.
Werner Schönleber receives recognition at the highest level such as producer of the year in the Gault Millau or collection of the year again in the Gault Millau. Father Werner focuses entirely on the management of the vineyards while his son Frank has now taken over the vinification.
