Elias Mora - Toro 2014
Pairing Suggestions
This weekend will be great weather in Holland with temperatures around 20 degrees Celsius.
With a blue sky in the background I taste this entry level 100% Tempranillo from Elias Mora.
Elias Mora – Toro 2014 (86 tsomw points)
Matured for 6 months in American oak. A young casual wine which you can open any time.
In the glass a dark cherry red color with purple reflections. Nice long legs stick to the glass.
On the nose intense notes of fruit basket full of black and red fruits like black berries, black currants and red berries with hints of vanilla, cacao, pepper and laurel.
On the palate medium/full-bodied showing black berries, dark cherries, chocolate and vanilla.
Beautiful, concentrated with a touch of herbs, liquorice and subtly integrated tannins and a light meaty finish.
