Dreissigacker - Bechtheimer Riesling 2015 (89 TSW)

Weingut Dreissigacker is located in the town of Bechtheim in the German wine region Rheinhessen. The enthusiastic owner Jochen Dreissigacker took over this family business from his parents. He successfully switched to organic grape growing. The returns in the vineyard are also considerably lower than in the time of his parents. This makes Jochen capable of harvesting healthy, highly concentrated grapes. He uses this to produce flawless wines that are counted among the best in the Rheinhessen.

My tasting notes:

In the glass a bright golden yellow color.
On the medium+ nose aromas of citrus, grapefruit and apricot with light hints of honey, white flowers and petrol.
On the palate dry, medium-bodied, light waxy, fresh with high acidity and minerality with green apple, lemon and peach and a long aftertaste.
