Colli di Serrapetrona - Sommo 2011
Pairing Suggestions
Terre di Serrapetrona – Sommo 2011 (82 points)
From the homeland of Vernaccia Nera in Italy (Marche) comes this nice dessert wine.
It shows a dark ruby red color in the glass with violet hues.
In the nose expressive aromas of black cherries, plums, raspberries and hints of flowers, herbs and tobacco. On the palate very balanced, sweet with chocolate and dark dried red fruit. This wine screams for a dessert like sweet creams, pies or just dark chocolate.
