Château Gassier is located in the heart of the Arc Valley east of Aix-de-Provence. The beautiful vineyard is 400 meters high and is ideally situated; protected in the north by La Montagne Sainte-Victoire, by the Massif du Regagnas in the south and Les Monts Aureliens in the east. Baron Georges Gassier, who manages the vineyards with his father, is the fifth generation of the family. 

The vineyards of Château Gassier cover around 40 hectares where several terroirs occur. For example, the grapes for the Cuvée Loubiero grow on a clay, lime-containing pebble and sand surface as a result of erosion of Mont Sainte-Victoire. Château Gassier makes various beautiful and classic wines such as the Cuvee Loubiero, Esprit de Gassier, Le pas du Moine and Cuvee 946 Château Gassier.

This #rosewine is made from a blend of Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault and Rolle. This Côtes de Provence style Sainte-Victoire comes from a direct pressing and a low temperature fermentation to preserve the aromas of berries.

My tasting notes:

In the glass this Provence rosé shows a light bright orange-pink color.
On the medium nose delicate aromas of raspberries, peach and melon with notes of white flowers and berries.
On the palate dry, medium-bodied with exotic fruit, raspberries and nectarine with a light drop of honey. Nice medium acidity and freshness which makes this an excellent.
