Yes. This bottle was empty before we noticed. Sun, friends and this rosé are the ingredients for the perfect summer party.
Sacha Lichine settled in La Motte-en-Provence in 2006 and bought from a Swedish family Château d'Esclans. Sacha is the son of the world-famous winemaker and writer Alexis Lichine. He only has one goal and that is making the best rosé in the world and that is going very well for him. In order to realize this ambition he left the vinification to Patrick Léon, who for 23 years was the winemaker of Mouton Rothschild. The international press plunged full on his rosés and praised it. The winery has been declared 'European Winery of the Year 2015' by the wine magazine Wine Enthusiast.
My notes:
Bright salmon pink color in the glass.
On the nose aromas of apricot, peach, strawberries and blossom.
Very soft Provence rose with an impressive taste. A nice glass of wine, elegant, wide and rich with a nice freshness and light spiciness. Itense taste of white peach, apricots, red currants and strawberries.
