In the glass this red one shows a deep red color withviolet reflections.
On the nose intense aromas of ripe cherries, blackcurrant and blueberries with hints of black pepper, coffee, licorice and chocolate.
On the palate full-bodied, meaty, concentrated but with nice freshness. Bold tannins but smooth with nice acidity and long finish.

Wine making

Cold pre-maceration and low temperature fermentation. Malolactic in barrel and aged for 14 months in European oak (French-Hungarian-Romanian). Finally partially aged for 5 months in 150 liter amphora.
