Bodega Elias Mora - Toro Descarte 2013
Pairing Suggestions
Suprisingly good for a Tinta de Toro / Tempranillo in this price range. After 1 hour decanter it opened very well.
Bodega Elias Mora - Toro Descarte 2013 (88 tsomw points)
Dark as night, mostly opaque color.
On the palate delicate aromas of vanilla, moderate oak, ripe dark fruit, plums, flowers, espresso, menthol and chocolate.
On the palate full-bodied with high density, young but round tannic, nicely balanced with dark coffee, tart, blackberries and vanilla. Nice acidity and a very pleasant long finish. Needs mabye 5 years to be at it's top but now very well drinkable.
Winemakers notes:
Fresh fruit with a powerful attack. Tasty red fruit. Perfect with smoked mushrooms, soft meats, game birds and blue fish.
