Vosne Romanée, Les Champs Perdrix 2012
Decanted 2 hours this still young 100% Pinot Noir from the Burgundy region.
Bruno Clair - Vosne Romanée, Les Champs Perdrix 2012 (90 tsomw points)
This domain has existed for decades as Domaine Clair-Daü, founded by Joseph Clair during the First World War. At the death of Joseph this famous domain was redistributed and since then his grandson Bruno Clair works on his own. At present, the Bruno Claire domain belongs to the 10 best in Burgundy and rightly enjoys worldwide fame.
In the glass a dark ruby red color.
On the nose delicate aromas of blackcurrant, raspberries with hints of spices, light vanilla and truffle.
On the palate concentrated, fresh attack with a little spice in the middle. It develops into a rich and intense finish. This is already dilicious but wil get even better within the next 5 to 8 years.
