Marsuret - Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Brut San Boldo
Pairing Suggestions
Ok! We passed half the week so time to crack a bubble.
Marsuret – Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Brut San Boldo (86 tsomw points)
This sparkling shows a pale straw yellow color with a very soft mousse.
On the nose aromas of green apple, citrus and wild flowers.
On the palate nuances of toast, pear, green apples and hints of lime. Great acidity and softness.
Winemakers notes:
The fresh mountain air from the San Boldo pass comes down to our vineyards and slows down the ripening process. This gives the grapes an acerbic quality that makes them ideal for producing Brut. The bouquet is delicate and lightly aromatic with an elegant complexity reminiscent of golden apples. With hints of wild flowers, the flavour is intense, dry and fresh. This wine has a fine and persistent perlage.
