Brancaia - Il Blu Toscana IGT 2011
Pairing Suggestions
This is really a great Super Tuscan. Blend of Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Brancaia - Il Blu Toscana IGT (89 tsomw points)
In the glass a medium garnet-red color.
On the nose pretty complex with aromas of berries, earth, dried herbs with hints of lavender and spices.
On the palate full-bodied but elegant. Great balanced with fine tannins. Despite its 14.5% it shows nice freshness with blueberries and tangy raspberries with medium acidity.
Finishes long, with slightly chewy, fine tannins and subtle notes of oak and spice.
