Tenuta I Gelsi - Basilicata Gelso Bianco 2015
Pairing Suggestions
This white one really blew me away. Tenuta I Gelsi - Gelso Bianco Basilicata Bianco IGT - 89 points.
Grapes Malvasia 100%
In the glass a bright straw yellow color. In the nose intense and persistent aromas of green apple, lychee, pear, citrus, hawthorn and a slight floral scent.
On the palate fresh and well balanced, with pleassant citrus, great finesse. The vocanic soil gives a nice touch of minerality. Tenuta I Gelsi is located in Rionero in Vulture, not far from the volcanic lakes. Must try!
Paired great with the risotto.
