Weissburgunder Festival 2015
This wine from Alto Adige comes from my favourite region for white wines. I really like this weissburgunder from Alto Adige. A deep golden color with aromas of fresh peaches, orange and golden apples. On the palate, fresh hay, nectarine with a waxy texture and nice minerals. Fresh herbal notes join the wine's deep core of fruits on the long, lingering finish.
Expansion: Alcoholic fermentation in small stainless steel tanks. Partial biologic acid degradation. Subsequent storage and ripening on the fine yeast for 6 months.
Harvest: the beginning of October
Quality level: DOC Classic
Vineyard: Marling, Meran, village of Tyrol 450-500m
