Anthony de Beir

Anthony de Beir (1988) is a registered vintner, wine writer and lecturer. He trained in Hospitality Management at University of Melbourne, Australia and subsequently worked as a sommelier for several major hotel chains and Michelin starred restaurants in both the Netherlands and Australia.
In 2021 he founded the wine blog Gettinghotforwine and has been developing his writing talent ever since. In 2022 he released the Tasting Note Booklet and was also voted sommelier of the year by Proefschrift Awards in Amsterdam.
