Miraval - Côtes de Provence Rosé 2016 (88 tsomw points)
Tucked away in its own private valley in the ancient village of Correns – the first organic village in France – Château Miraval covers 500 hectares of land in the heart of Provence.
Tasting notes:
In the glass a pink salmon color.
On the nose delicate aromas of white flowers, strawberries, red berries and hints of peach and citrus.
On the palate soft but full in the mouth, nicely balanced with lots of fruit and freshness, nice acidity and long aftertaste.
Very well made Rosé from the Perrin Family.

Winemaker notes:
TERROIR Issued from the Château’s best parcels (Muriers, Longue, Romarin), and from selected parcels in the best terroirs of Provence. Clay & Limestone vineyard, partially in terraces located at an average of 1200 feet above sea level. Miraval's cold air pulling valley offers greater diurnal temperature variation.
VINIFICATION The grapes are harvested exclusively in the morning and sorted twice. Destemming. ‘Pressurage direct’ for Cinsault, Grenache and Rolle. The Syrah is vinified partially using the «saignee» method. Vinified in temperature - controlled stainless steel vats (95%) and in barrels (5%) with batonnage.
