Baracchi Winery - Cabernet 2012
Pairing Suggestions
Sunday we had a great dinner at Il Falconiere – the one star Michelin restaurant in Tuscany with Chef and owner Silvia Baracchi.
Baracchi – Cabernet 2012 (89 tsomw points)
In the glass a deep red/purple color.
On the nose delicate aromas of ripe red fruit, cherries, plums and earthy notes and vanilla.
On the palate nicely balanced, soft in the mouth with nice acidity and lots of character. Great Tuscan wine.
I paired the wine with lamb chops.
This Riserva comes from limited locations of vineyards and from the best selection of Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. 30 Days of maceration with skins. 24 months in new French oak barrels - medium toasted and 9 months in bottle before the release.
